quiet location, spacious suite, nice shower

Low ceilings in ground floor rooms can feel confining!!! Floors show age and cleanliness is questionable with stains in multiple areas!!! Fridge inconsistencies create inconvenience!!!

My stay at Suites Alla Maddalena was delightful! The spacious room offered a charming view of the canal, and the cozy decor made it feel like home. Located in a lovely part of Cannaregio, it was within walking distance to many attractions.

Navigating the check-in process was a bit confusing.

We had a fantastic time with our group of friends! The staff was super friendly and even upgraded us to a larger room, which was a nice surprise. We loved exploring the nearby attractions like the Rialto Bridge and St Mark's Basilica. Plus, the neighborhood offered plenty of charming cafes within walking distance to grab breakfast.

The only downside was that the wifi wasn't really working well, which made it tricky to plan our day. Other than that, everything else was great!

The room was spacious and had great views of the church and gondolas. A/C worked well, which was a plus in the summer heat. The low ceilings might get to some people, but the shower was nicely lit with strong water pressure. Just a heads up—the check-in process was a bit different since we had to contact staff to get in. But once we were in, it felt cozy and welcoming!

suites alla maddalena is a gem! the rooms are stunning and right on a canal. we loved being able to walk to the train station and enjoy attractions like san marco and rialto bridge nearby. the beds were super comfortable, way better than what you typically find in italy. great value for the price!

It was just a good pick for a brief visit in Venice and great for the money. The location allowed us to stroll to nearby cafes within minutes. Consider checking in early if you're arriving late to avoid any communication issues.

The service was really good, they made us feel right at home! My wife and I loved watching the gondolas pass by from our room, it was just nice to see them float by on the canal when we were sipping coffee in the morning.
